Artist Frida Kahlo on the streets of Mexico City

Graffiti on the streets of Mexico City depicts, Frida Kahlo, the famous Mexican artist and queen of the "monobrow". Frida was one of the most significant painters of the 20th century. She painted using vibrant colours in a style that was influenced by the indigenous cultures of Mexico as well as by the European movement of Symbolism and Realism and Surrealism. Her paintings are on display in the Museo Frida Kahlo, in Coyoacan (near Mexico City).
